DUVET garments made in FIORONI are the result of a unique craftsmanship know-how.
In fact, the final result is arrived at through a very special manufacturing process: the knit is woven with specially modified machinery, according to certain tricks, the result of years and years of experience.
This allows for much more yarn inside the knit, resulting in a much more compact knit: just consider that a 100% cashmere crew-neck commonly considered to be of good quality weighs about 220 gr. while those in 100% cashmere DUVET workmanship made in FIORONI weigh about 350 gr. in the same pattern.
Next, the garment is washed in only Lake Trasimeno water with an intensive washing system that takes about 50 minutes, while normally a 100% cashmere garment is washed between 3 and 6 minutes but with the use of soaps or softeners.
The waters of our lake, which by their nature are rich in iron, combined with this particular weave and intensive washing, allow the fiber to completely explode. The result is a knit with a unique "hand" to the touch and which, most importantly, has a complete absence of pilling.
